All Things Moose

location: By the window
time: a few days ago
feelings: motherly

I've had this little toy now for quite some time...a couple of years now. I really adore him and don't mind to cart him around with me.
Every other thing else I rip to shreds..this one however is different. :)

Out like a flash...

It's the Holiday Season..

From recently making the advent calendar to WOW...it's over just like that. I filled my home this year with as much Christmas spirit as possible.

Every December weekend was booked with Holiday Parties and the schedule right up to the last minute for some last minute shopping...

The years traditions are pretty routine, beginning at our house Christmas Eve morning when Tim, Moose and I exchange gifts.

Christmas eve is spent surrounded by Jones'.

With a special visit from the most important man of the season! Man, I must have done something right this year;)

Beginning at midnight the {rowdy} set of Jones' turn it up.

Christmas Day with the Johnson crew.

The Originals.

Such a great time for friends and family the photos are endless. Defineltly a good time had by all.

Not sure about you all but, 94.5..mixmas was a constant since October. I kind of wish the Christmas music would last... oh well. Til next year.

LTC Fridays

Wow.. another year has come and gone.. and just like that, 2012 is just around the corner!

I can hear the countdown now. But wait, I still have a couple of days left to find a new dress, invite over some friends for a tasty beverage and share some laughs. Here are some great ideas to help along the way via Pinterest of course!

{Style}

Isn't all this glitter so much fun!

How fun are all of these outfits; drinks and shoes to match!!

{Party Fun}

I love this framed piece, I was thinking of redoing this for some nice subway art type. So fun!

Simple, yet a must: the party favors.

Love the individual servings and displays for champange for this idea.

This is probably the cutest mantle I've seen in quite sometime..I simply must duplicate;)
Thanks Martha!

{Resolutions}
Ah..yes..it's resolution time. What will yours be?
Thanks to Pinterest..we'll keep it simple;)

I would love to hear about your New Year's happenings, decoration ideas or to see your ideas onPinterest! Drop me a line or follow me.

Happy New Years!

Craft Around

Ahh.. a girls night in just to hang out and craft around. Just to catch up on all the gossip really.

Light snacks, a nice smooth beverage to make the tummy warm and a handy hot glue gun should do the trick.

Thanks girls for the laughs, awkward photos, and completed projects!

Merry Unbirthday

A Very Merry Unbirthday to me, to me!

Happy 1 month Peanutbutter Headaches!

{YouTubeSong}

You have not the first follower {not even Tim}, but hey that's ok. Stay strong and continue to have fun with it; share your shareables and fun finds. Take the photos and reminisce with friends.

You will be glad you did; it's fun to look at the Moose on a daily basis and keep track of him growing up. {you'll appreciate this when he's gone.}

Now blow the candles out my dear and make your wish come true...
a verry merry merry unbirthday to yoooooouuuuuu!

Of course shopping for women is always easy, but what do you buy someone that has everything, or that says "oh, I don't need anything." The many items on these lists are sure to fulfill any stocking hung with care.

Yum!

Recipes I {simply} must try...and share

{PUMPKIN OREO CHEESECAKE
}

2-8 oz pkgs. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. canned pumpkin
oreos
whipped cream

Preheat oven to 350* Place cupcake liners in a muffin pan. Beat the cream cheese until creamy. Add the sugar and cream again. Add the eggs one at a time beating after each one. Add the rest of the ingredients and beat again. Place one whole oreo in the bottom of the cupcake liners and fill up the liner 3/4 full with the cheesecake batter. Push another whole oreo into the top of the batter. Bake for 20-22 minutes. Cool in pan for 15-20 min before removing and placing on a wire rack to finish cooling. Keep refrigerated. Top with whipped cream and oreo sprinkles before serving. Makes 24.

{Cucumber stuffed with Spicy Crab}

When I saw this it screamed amazing! I really want to give this a try.

{Mozzarella, Tomato and Avocado}

The word avocado immediately grabbed my attention! I think this would satisfy any appetite! Add it to a nice bowl of soup...sounds like a yummy meal to me.

{Dessert in a Jar}

That title alone..um..yes please.
This is such a fabulous idea. I'll have another.

Since this was some time ago, I'm not sure what I was fixated on; possibly a ball or something with a squeaker inside.

Turkey in Disguise

Last week sure was a short week {2 days..whoop!} We had loads of {turkey} fun: read about turkeys, made turkey hats, ate turkey for lunch, and even made turkey's in disguise.

Above we wrote about what we were thankful for and below is a fun disguise a turkey project that I think the kids and the parents enjoyed.

My students were given a take home project and asked to disguise a turkey for Thanksgiving. Here are some of the awesome results. I was truly impressed {these parents really go all out}.
